We guide students and alumni at every stage of their career while helping employers develop their talent pipeline through networking events, career fairs, job and internship listings, on-campus interviews and meetups with virtual options. To prepare for these opportunities, Vandals can rely on our team for expert assistance in career assessments, major exploration, coaching, resumes, interview preparation and salary negotiations.

Student internship program
Join a team of student interns from diverse majors and backgrounds who share a common goal: career advocacy and readiness. As a Career Services intern, you鈥檒l gain hands-on experience in customer support, career advising, employer relations and marketing. You鈥檒l represent the office in multiple roles 鈥 from greeting fellow Vandals at the front desk to reviewing resumes, assisting with events and processing employer job postings.

U of I employee resources
Partnerships between U of I employees and Career Services combine strengths and resources for the benefit of our students. Our is packed with various resources and class activities that can be used by faculty and staff to facilitate career conversations. These conversations will help us as a university to support the goals of students by giving them the tools they need to achieve them.
Privacy Policy
魅影直播 Career Services is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information of students and alumni.
Career Services contracts with Handshake庐, an online career development system, to provide U of I students and alumni with a resource for job listings, resume services and on-campus interview scheduling.
Student and alumni profile data, resumes and accompanying documents will reside on secure servers owned and managed by Handshake. Handshake servers are hosted by Amazon Web Services庐 (AWS).
Collection and access to student information is governed by U of I and federal policy under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), as well as the 魅影直播 Computer Use Policy. Information collected will be used by Career Services to provide tailored services to users. Student and alumni data may also be used by Career Services for reporting purposes to assist in program improvements. Data used will be in aggregate form only.
Job and internship postings placed through Handshake庐 may or may not be reviewed before posting. Users are urged to research postings and use discretion when applying for positions. Do not disclose social security information, bank account numbers, credit card information or other highly sensitive information when applying for jobs and internships.
